Martin is a typical “serial entrepreneur”. He founded adbug,qbitscience and zgsolution. Martin used to work for CAS(Chinese Academy of Science) Life Science information center as a Software R&D engineer and also worked for UGS(Unigraphic Solution) as a Software engineer. He graduated from Coventry University in England with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and dropped out from the CEIBS MBA program to found adbug.

Out side adbug, Martin enjoys snowboarding, as well as the study of quantum physics and astronomical science. He started a non-profit organization named Wifizion in Africa dedicated to bring free wifi-access to local residents.

As adbug’s CTO, Mr. Ding is in charge of all technology related work involved in product development as well as technical support for all clients. Steven has over 15 years technology experience in the field of software development, leading the development of a variety of projects. Before joining adbug, he worked at Shanghai Power Equipment Research Institute, Baoji Software and Siemens (China) software in various roles, concentrating on the development of financial and PLM softwares. Most recently Steven is focusing on the research and development for the adbug advertisement search engine, especially mobile applications and advertisement brand safety fields.

Steven earned his BA from Jiangsu University. As a father, he loves playing football with his son and enjoying family time.

As Executive Vice President, Ms. Han has a variety of internal and external responsibilities including strategic planning, public relations, marketing, etc.. Summer is currently an active member of MMA China, leading the making of Ad Verification guideline in the Greater China Market. Prior to joining adbug, she co-founded a Hong Kong based consulting firm KairuX Partners. Before that, Summer worked at O’Neill Properties Group in Philadelphia as Vice President of Asia Relations.

Summer recently moved to the former French Concession in Shanghai. She enjoys riding XiaoNiu to and from adbug headquaters. In her free time, Summer loves traveling, reading, cooking and exploring new neighborhoods with friends.

Ms. Han holds an A.B. in Psychology and Philosophy from Bryn Mawr College.

Daniel Cao

Data Scientist

Nicolas oversees the planning, designing and continuous innovation of the two product lines –Adbug Search Engine and AdbugTech Ad Verification Solutions. Prior to joining Adbug, he was an Account Manager at Sizmek, overseeing over 30 key accounts and later was promoted as Optimization Specialist to provide advertisers with actionable insights to ultimately improve client satisfaction.

Nicolas graduated from Shanghai University of Electricity Power with a major in English and also a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from Fudan Law school. Nicolas enjoys music and playing with electric gadgets. He currently lives with his wife and a new-born son in Fengxian, Shanghai.

Dr. Daniel Cao leads the adbug data science team dedicated to the development of the world’s first free search engine for advertisements as well as the algorithm of brand safety, viewability and anti-fraud technologies. Dr. Cao has rich research experience from both high-tech companies and universities. Most recently, Daniel served as a scientist at Honeywell. Prior to Honeywell, Daniel held the position of assistant professor at Taiyuan University of Technology. Daniel earned his Doctor’s Degree in Microelectronics and solid-state electronics from the Chinese Academy of Science and his Bachelor’s degree in physics from Nankai University. As a data scientist, he is dedicated to algorithm development to provide accurate, efficient and enjoyable search experience for users.

Daniel enjoys many outdoor activities in his free time, including hiking and mountain climbing. He also likes playing Ping Pong and reading.
